Comrades,
Here is a chance for you to speak directly with your representative in the state legislative offices in Carson City, please read the info below and contact PDC Frank Greenwood if you or your chapter plan to attend.

;March 26, will be VETERAN and MILITARY DAY at the Legislature.  I am making arrangements for the Legislators to Host the VFW, DAV, AL,VVA, MC League, Purple Heart, any veteran group member and or active Guard, to be on the Assembly Floor that day. I must submit names to Assembly Sergeant of Arms… your name.  There are 42 seats to fill.  If you have a preference of which Legislator you wish to be seated with be specific and I'll try to accommodate.
What? You don't know who that is?  Go to this link: Who's My Legislator / What's My District.  Go to the top right and enter your complete address.  When the District map opens up, click on the map pin… a window opens to show your District Elected Officers.  If you click on their name, it opens their Legislative profile for your review.  All of them have been very supportive of Veterans issues and we want to support them as well by showing up.  Oh, and by-the-way, your name will be entered into the record for the Assembly that day.  Yeah, YOU!
Why this is important:
Some may not know or understand that Caleb Harris, Darrol Brown, John Warden, and I have been lobbying many of the Lawmakers out of public sight, behind closed doors, and publically testifying for their Bills when requested.  We review the Bill with the Lawmakers to work out any proposed changes, amendments, misunderstandings, or offer our support.  Think of it as a political partnership for bills coming up where we may need their support later.  We don't expect every Bill to be passed, but we are on track for a majority if we continue our Legislative partnership.
As the names come rolling in I'll plug you in where you prefer, if not, I'll assign you a spot and provide more specific details.  I need to have this to the Assembly Sergeant of Arms no later than March 13.  Following his approval, I'll push the list out the following week providing you time to shine those boots, and ready your hair.
As the Assembly ends that day, we will migrate over to the Senate Gallery reserved for us, while the Senators recognize us as well. Only a very few are permitted to be on the Senate Floor.  They only have 21 seats there.  I don't want to completely overwhelm them – we might need them later.
Let's show them a "Sea of Hats"!
