Veterans Day Parade

This message was sent with high importance.

Chapter 1076 will be participating in the Veterans Day Parade to be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. but members can show up between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m.  Staging for Chapter 1076 will be in the area of Fourth Street south of Charleston.  For additional information, go to www.veteransparade.com and click on links on the left side of the screen.  Actual location will not be known until the day of the parade.

Please keep in mind that parking will be at your discretion and those who arrive earliest will get the better parking spots.  We are open to suggestions regarding carpooling.

The preferred uniform is our standard black pants and black shirt.  The khaki uniform will be acceptable if you do not have your black uniform available.  PLEASE, NO SHORTS.

In order to finalize details for those who will be participating in the parade, please provide me with the following information by Tuesday, November 7:

1. Name of person(s) attending.  (Spouses/Significant Others are invited to participate.)

2. Will you (and/or your guest) be walking in the parade?

3. Will you (and/or your guest) need to ride in the parade?

Also, we are in need of eight (8) volunteers.  We need four (4) individuals to carry flags, two (2) individuals to carry M-16s, and two (2) individuals to carry the Chapter 1076 banner.

Any other questions can be addressed at the Chapter meeting on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
