To all my fellow veterans friends and family my we all remember
Subject: Update re: Fisher House Las Vegas
NVF Board -- the below copy and attachments FYI. Being distributed to all veterans organizations and the media, etc. Len
Attached is a press release about the Fisher House to be constructed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Las Vegas. Also attached is a copy of a Nevada Veterans Foundation tri-fold Fisher House brochure.
On Saturday, November 1, 2014, the Nevada Veterans Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Las Vegas are holding a Texas Hold'em Charity Poker Tournament to raise money for the Fisher House and local student scholarships. Attached is a copy of the poker tournament flyer.
Thank you for letting your members/readers know of the Fisher House progress and the Charity Poker Tournament.
Since the criteria for staying in the Fisher House is residing more than 50-miles from the VAMC, veterans living outside of Clark County will receive the greatest benefits and we hope those veterans will support our Charity Poker Tournament and other fundraising efforts, and contribute to the NVF for the Fisher House.
Thanks,
