The Hard Rock Café is participating in this event on Nov. 22, as they are not feeding the needy at their location this year.  An invitation has been presented to members of Chapter 17 to participate along with them at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.  Contact the Rescue Mission to volunteer if you are interested.  The mission also has some other volunteer opportunities available now through the end of January.  Thank you, Joni Giancola, VVA Chapter 17 Public Relations Chair

Ok, if y'all can get anyone , here is a sign up sheet and flyer for next sat Nov 223nd  .   it says a lot of things on here but we will be with the Rescue mission giving out frozen Turkeys and all the accompaniments . Since we are not doing the Feed the Needy here on thanksgiving and I know some of the staff usually  just show up at Paradise. Please let them know we will not be doing that this year . We have let the Vietnam Vets know. A few of them may join us to volunteer also

Hey y'all. Since we are not doing Feed the Needy at Paradise cafe this year ,we have option of heading down to help Rescue mission the weekend before . Some of the Vietnam vets that usually help with turkey day may join us since it's yearly tradition 

 I am going to send over sign up sheets tomorrow once I confirm a couple things

Have are a few upcoming Special Projects:

November 22: The Las Vegas Rescue Mission is teaming up with the Convoy of Hope for our annual turkey giveaway this year. The volunteer schedule is from 7:30am to 4pm. I've attached the flyer for your convenience.

We also need help with sorting food (anytime between now and January 31st  and wrapping toys (December 1-15) between 10am- 6pm Monday through Saturday. You pick the date and time and I'll put your group on the schedule.

We're looking forward to working with you this holiday season and into next year.
